The foundation of Jeff’s practice is good communication with his clients. Jeff’s motto is that the law needs to serve the people not the other way round. The most important attribute of a good lawyer is being able to explain the legal process to a client in simple terms that a lay person can understand empowering them to make good decisions. If a client does not understand the concepts their lawyer is trying to explain to them then it’s a fair bet that their lawyer does not understand them either!
Having lived in a small town for over a decade now, Jeff has dealt with all manner of legal issues, however his favourite areas of law are: Wills (mainly because he is usually the only lawyer involved) and other end-of-life issues such as enduring powers of attorney and guardianship, advance health directives and helping people dealing with estates after a loved one dies.
